Job summary

nVent seeks an experienced machinist to fabricate custom components for maintenance and engineering. You will design fixtures, operate CNC, lathe and milling machines, and maintain tooling with precision.

Reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and applying mathematical analysis are essential to ensure quality parts. Validate processes and support productivity improvements across a global organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with machinist experience.
• Able to read blueprints and compute measurements with precision.
• Experience operating CNC, lathe and milling machines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components and replacement parts for maintenance and engineering.
• Design and build fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Operate and maintain machine tools safely, in a non-temperature controlled plant.
• Coordinate priorities with Maintenance Manager to maximize productivity.
• Troubleshoot machinery and implement process improvements.
