Job summary

Framing Technology Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a motivated Machinist to operate drills, mills and saws to cut, mill, drill, tap and deburr aluminum stock for enclosures, fencing, conveyors and more.

You will join a team-focused warehouse environment with flexible daytime shifts (6:30 am – 4:00 pm) and company-paid insurance options. Prior experience is beneficial but not required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or higher.
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety.
• Proficient in math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drills, mills, and saws to complete assigned tasks.
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints and samples to ensure accurate production.
• Select appropriate machine for a given task.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Maintain raw inventory and issue materials as tasked.
• Ensure safety and follow all policies and procedures.
