Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH is seeking a Machinist to support new product development and collaborate with engineering teams across mechanical design, signal integrity, and manufacturing.

You will operate vertical milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders, develop Prototrak programs, set up workpieces, and ensure parts meet precise tolerances through in-process and final inspections.

Qualifications

Experience with precision machining equipment.
Experience with setup and operation of CNC mills, lathes, and use of related CAM software preferred.
Familiarity with machining a variety of materials such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Responsibilities

Create Prototrak programs for a variety of machines, including milling machines and lathes.
Operate manual machinery for milling, drilling, turning, and grinding of a variety of materials.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and related verbal instructions.
Monitor machining processes and perform in-process and final inspection of finished parts.
Maintain machinery and conduct minor repairs or adjustments.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
