Schepmont Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our electric motor repair team in Wheeling, WV. You will operate and set up manual and CNC machines to produce precision components, interpret blueprints, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates read GD&T, understand tolerances, and apply lean manufacturing practices while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision machining for motors.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing basics.
• Strong math skills for tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and determine machining requirements.
• Operate CNC or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs.
• Install tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Maintain machines and troubleshoot downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and assist assembly when needed; support continuous improvement.
