Job summary

Menard group is seeking an experienced Machinist to operate manual machinery and produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, interpret sketches, and create prints while selecting tooling and materials for each project.

The role requires rigorous inspection of outputs and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic shop environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of machining experience, with welding certifications (3G/4G) considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience.
• Welding certifications (3G/4G) are a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machinery to produce parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
• Create prints and drawings.
• Select the appropriate tooling and material based on the project.
• Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
• Inspect machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area.
• Compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
