Ensures traceability of product/process and reports on work.

Responsibilities

Undertakes adjustment and setting of specific equipment in order to carry out machining operations, based on a dossier and blueprints.
Uses the appropriate machining tools.
Machines pre-production items and prototypes, follows established controls to validate the first items manufactured in a production run.
Looks for potential improvements to reduce wastage and keep within production time.
Detects machining faults and seeks corrective actions.
Ensures the required traceability (product/process), and reports on his/her work.
Carries out first-level maintenance on equipment.
Provides technical support and tutors new starts.
