Job summary

Tri City Extrusion Inc. seeks a skilled Machine Shop Technician to fabricate precision parts using blueprints, CAD data, and CNC equipment.

The role requires setup expertise, tool and fixture preparation, and strict adherence to tolerances and quality standards. Candidates should have 1 year of hands-on machining or 3 years of relevant technical experience, PQV Level I certification or ability to obtain it, and the physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on machining experience or 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• PQV Level I certification or must be able to be trained.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machine tools including precision equipment, presses and CNC machines.
• Perform setup functions: tool grinding, tool setup, fixture setup, machine set point and document prep.
• Fabricate, machine and finish parts to required tolerances and company standards.
• Inspect work to ensure drawing and process conformity; supervise others when required.
• Read blueprints and CAD/engineering drawings to guide manufacturing.
