Job summary

The Kinetic Group is seeking skilled Machine Tool Operators to support our manufacturing operations in Lewiston, ID. The role involves operating Overbeck and CNC grinders, polishing and honing processes, and finishing metal parts to exact specifications.

You will document work in our tracking system and assist with shop duties as needed. Starting pay is $33.56/hr with scheduled increases to $38.89/hr after 52 weeks, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand English.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Good housekeeping and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate Overbeck and CNC ID grinders to shape and finish metal parts.
• Polish, size and finish dies, machine parts to precise tolerances.
• Set up, adjust and maintain grinding, polishing, honing and lapping processes.
• Inspect dimensions to tight tolerances using precision instruments.
• Maintain equipment and support 5S and Kaizen programs.
• Complete required paperwork and update Work Order Tracking System.
