Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Orchard Park, NY, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC Form Grinding Machines. The role requires experience in manufacturing and machining, with the ability to hold tight tolerances. The successful candidate will be part of an advanced team, focused on quality improvement and efficiency. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) with company contributions, and paid time off. This is a full-time, in-person position with a competitive pay range of $22.00 - $26.00/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a production manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of experience in CNC machining or relevant educational background.
• Experience with reading CADD drawings and Job Travelers.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC grinding machines.
• Hold very precise tolerances.
• Use critical thinking to improve quality and reduce scrap.
• Inspect inserts for dimensional and visual defects.
• Set up machines for production runs.
• Learn and use conversational CNC programming.

Job description

Operating CNC Form Grinding Machines, grinding high grade precision tooling to tight tolerances. This is for candidates with previous experience in Manufacturing and Machining. Training on Equipment is provided.

Shift: Four, 10-hour days

Day Shift Sun-Wed

Earn $22.00 - $26.00 /hr starting, Based on experience. Regular pay raises available. Ability to learn and Cross Train in multiple departments.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Overtime

Weekends as needed
