Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a Precision Machining Production & Materials Flow Lead in Cary, IL. You will orchestrate material movement, lead WIP control, and align shop floor data with ERP to ensure digital thread integrity.

You’ll also implement Kanban and safety stock, generate daily reporting, and partner with Purchasing on replenishment quantities. Strong leadership in discrete manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing setting.
• Leadership on the shop floor and collaboration with Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate material movement between manufacturing departments.
• Produce daily progress, transaction, cycle count, and open MO reporting.
• Maintain tight control of WIP in line with the plan.
• Reconcile SFM activity with ERP transactions to align digital and shop floor data.
• Create replenishment milk runs to keep lines fed.
• Own ad hoc projects and deep-dive analyses to resolve issues.
