Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a Machining Operator in San Marcos, TX to support our growth in precision magnet manufacturing. You will set up machines, select fixtures and tools, feed materials, and bond magnetic components to substrates with care and accuracy.

You’ll inspect parts with precision measuring tools, perform routine maintenance, and keep a safe, clean production floor. High school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate clearly across teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Able to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Determine fixtures, attachments, and tools and mount them to the machine.
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Bond magnetic components in specific orientations to substrates.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of machines.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment; comply with procedures and rules.
