Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets and blueprints and differentiate between thread sizes, course and fine threads, and metric and standard threads.
• Mechanically inclined with basic understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of basic shop math and metric conversions.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and solvents.
• Must be a US citizen due to facility access.

Responsibilities

• Machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using conventional, CNC, and sheet metal equipment.
• Interpret CAD data and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Perform secondary operations during the machine cycle (deburring, straightening).
• Conduct general labor tasks in sheet metal/machine shop (grinding, washing, prep work).
• Inspect parts with gauges and measuring devices to ensure quality.
• Monitor tools for wear and adjust processes to maintain quality parts.
