Job summary

Benshaw is seeking a machine operator in Pittsburgh, PA to perform setup, operation, and inspection of detailed parts using mills, lathes, drill presses, and grinders. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, document production steps, and maintain safe, efficient workflows in a high-demand environment.

The role requires reading technical drawings, basic math, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Overtime evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Strong math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
• Able to work independently and meet quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect detailed parts from blueprints using machining tools.
• Set up and operate machines per procedures and schedules.
• Monitor performance and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specs.
• Complete production documentation and maintenance reporting.
