Job summary

Avalign is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Indiana to own the health of our CNC fleet, including Mori Seiki, Makino, Tsugami, and Citizen machines. You will execute preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support machine startups to ensure reliable production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical device manufacturing or precision CNC environments, with strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a maintenance technician in medical device manufacturing or equivalent precision CNC environment.
• Proficiency troubleshooting CNC-related electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming.

Responsibilities

• Execute proactive preventive maintenance and routine testing to catch issues early.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to keep schedules on track during equipment challenges.
• Maintain complete, up-to-date records for inspections, repairs, and part replacements.
• Support safe, high-quality installation and startup of new CNC machines.
