The role partners with engineering, quality and production to reflect real-world shop capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in machining processes, cost analysis, and project coordination to ensure on-time RFQ responses and accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings and technical specs.
• Strong cost-estimation experience for precision machined components.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, CAD models, and specs to build accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to define machining strategies and inspection needs.
• Prepare detailed estimates for RFQs and change orders with timely delivery.
• Maintain estimate data, part numbers, and revision levels in the estimating system.
• Ensure labor, materials, subcontractors, and inspection requirements are captured in estimates.
