Job summary

Alamo Group, a leading manufacturer, seeks an assembler to perform a series of operations assembling machinery using hand and power tools, fixtures, and test equipment. The role requires following detailed instructions, complying with quality standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include assembling equipment for final operation, troubleshooting as needed, and reporting issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read/write instructions clearly.
• Ability to read basic prints/schematics.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape, ruler, square).
• Adhere to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines.
• Report quality/process/equipment/material issues to supervisor.
• Assemble equipment for final operation and troubleshoot as needed.
• Seek methods to improve efficiency, speed and quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area to support manufacturing.
