Job summary

You’ll operate mills, lathes, and related equipment, document build issues, and collaborate with engineers; travel to customer sites domestically or internationally about 20% or more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in machine building, equipment assembly, mechanical assembly, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical part and assembly drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial machinery and equipment per drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Interpret part and assembly drawings with intermediate proficiency.
• Execute tasks independently while meeting safety, quality, productivity, and timing goals.
• Identify, document, and communicate build issues and design changes.
• Collaborate with leads and engineers to report status and progress.
• Prepare parts for secondary processes such as finishing, heat treating, and deburring.
• Support customer-site installations and services as needed, with travel.
