Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America in Jackson, TN is seeking a Machine Setter who will perform equipment setup, changeovers, and verification to keep production safe, stable, and efficient. • High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing or machine setup experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setups and changeovers per standard work instructions.
• Verify machine parameters, tooling, fixtures and safety devices prior to startup.
• Ensure readiness of equipment to prevent defects and production delays.
• Record setup changes, machine adjustments, and abnormal conditions; maintain production documentation.
• Participate in kaizen activities to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
