Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational training in industrial trades is a plus.
• 1-3 years of machine operator experience in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and following manufacturing specifications.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows-based environment.
• Experience with process improvement and safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow documented production procedures to complete daily work assignments
• Work closely with the engineering team on new manufacturing processes
• Load fixtures and make machine or process adjustments as needed
• Inspect parts using microscopes to identify quality issues
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products meet specifications
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Set up jobs and production runs as assigned
• Maintain a safe work environment by following company procedures and regulations
• Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities
