Job summary

Matthews Memorialization in Georgia is seeking a Machine Operator to assist with setup, calibration, and operation of production equipment. You will inspect parts and finished products for quality, adjust processes, and help maintain equipment and inventories to meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years of machine operating experience, and solid math, problem solving, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of machine operating experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Basic mathematical concepts understood and applied.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Unloads parts and inspects for quality and performs equipment set-up.
• Operates various equipment to meet production and business needs.
• Maintains stock of material and machine parts for equipment.
• Determine parts to be manufactured based upon production, orders and stock.
• Observes and maintains machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
