Job summary

NCW is seeking a dependable Machine Operator in Indianapolis, IN to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role combines machine operation, product assembly, quality inspection, and equipment setup in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on safety and precision.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, assembling parts, performing quality checks with calipers/micrometers, documenting results, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and quality checks.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and make minor machine adjustments while producing components according to production specifications.
• Assemble, combine, cap, inspect, and test manufactured parts to ensure proper fit, function, and quality.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and document inspection results.
• Verify materials, maintain accurate production records, and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance, and operate multiple machines when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following regulations and policies.
