Job summary

Autokiniton is seeking a production associate to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced facility. You will follow standard work sheets, load material into machines, and inspect parts for defect and quality.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate recordkeeping, and teamwork to meet daily production targets. You will also perform first piece inspections, label parts, operate presses, troubleshoot issues, and maintain reliable attendance as part of a collaborative team committed to quality

Qualifications

• Attention to detail essential for spotting defects and tolerances.
• Basic math, reading and writing required for documentation and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to stay focused on tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and diagnose production challenges.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and place personal and coworker safety first.
• Follow written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed by work standard sheets.
• Manually load blanks into machines and place parts into inventory baskets.
• Inspect components and assemblies visually for quality defects such as scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination.
• Perform first piece inspection of setup parts as directed by supervisor or Quality Instructions.
• Record and report production, quality and inventory information accurately.
• Label and tag parts and baskets accurately.
• Operate Progressive or Transfer Press.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose production run issues.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance; perform other duties as directed.
