Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Machine Operator Level C in Pennsylvania to operate various machinery and produce parts within specified tolerances. You will follow prints, use calipers and micrometers, measure parts, and maintain tools while ensuring safety protocols are followed in a production environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years’ experience in heavy industrial settings and can work well in a team, with strong attention to detail and ability to document measurements.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform basic machine operations.
• Ability to focus and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Ability to learn speed and feed regulation for machines.
• Ability to work and communicate in a team.
• Ability to recognize defects and report deviations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
• Produce parts according to print requirements using various machinery.
• Measure part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, or other tools.
• Maintain tools and equipment to maximize tool life.
• Perform safety checks on every machine and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned, including special processes.
