Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Machine Operator 1 in Massachusetts to partner with Manufacturing Operations and machine parts to specifications. You will report to the Manufacturing Specialist and operate a range of machines, following process sheets and supervisor instructions to ensure parts meet tolerances.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, basic reading/writing and math skills, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools like a micrometer

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience required.
• Must be current Temporary Employee at MKS doing the work of Machine Operator 1.
• Requires production experience, basic reading, writing and addition and subtraction skills.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Be able to use a micrometer and caliper.

Responsibilities

• Operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.
• Working from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Checking and inspecting operation against predetermined tolerances.
