Job summary

Spacesaver Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to run production equipment and ensure parts meet customer quality and delivery standards. You will operate pre-set machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers, and read shop orders.

You will follow safety protocols, perform quality inspections with precision measuring tools, use the ERP system for shop order management, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate pre-set machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers to produce parts according to shop orders.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
• Use Spacesaver's ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
