Job summary

Spacesaver Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to run production equipment and ensure parts meet quality and delivery standards. You’ll operate preset machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers according to shop orders.

This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to read shop orders, and adherence to safety protocols. You will use precision measuring tools and the company ERP system, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate preset machines to produce parts according to shop orders.
• Follow safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks per schedules.
• Use ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other areas as needed.
• Work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.

• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
• Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
• Use Spacesaver’s ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
