Job summary

Hireology is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to monitor, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment in a high-volume production environment. You will follow SOPs, maintain safety and GMP standards, and perform end-of-run washouts and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up machines at the start of shifts, loading materials, adjusting components, performing safety checks, documenting quality checks, and communicating performance data across shifts while maintaining clean,

Qualifications

• Must be able to attend work as scheduled and read/write in English.
• Able to perform basic math and understand SOPs, SSPOs and GMP guidelines.
• Must be able to document shift activities and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine at beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Load packaging material into machine throughout shift.
• Adjust machine components according to finished product specifications.
• Perform safety checks throughout shift.
• Troubleshoot problems during operation and stop/jam adjustments as needed.
• Inspect and remove defective items meeting quality standards.
• Clean machine and perform preventative maintenance.
• Test and evaluate products for weights, seals, codes and labels.
• Document activities performed during the shift and communicate results.
