Job summary

Bullion International Group, the parent of APMEX, seeks a Machine Operator for its Edmond, OK facility. You will operate extrusion presses, monitor heating and billet loading, and ensure safety and quality in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and measurement equipment.
• Comfortable doing hot work and working in high temperatures and loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper operation.
• Examine components for conformance to specs; measure and weigh parts.
• Work with maintenance and leaders to resolve issues quickly and correctly.
• Communicate equipment problems to team members and address them as they arise.
• Maintain and clean equipment using cleaning solutions, grease, oil, hoses, and rags.
• Install cutters, molds, and other parts to keep machines running at peak efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace; perform daily safety checks.
• Other duties as necessary.
