Job summary

Century Furniture in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our day shift. You will operate a range of woodworking machines and ensure smooth production in assigned areas.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring quality, and adhering to safety policies. Previous machine operation experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is typical. Candidates should be able to work in a noisy environment and lift up to 30 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of machines including bandsaw, profile shaper, rip saw, wide belt sander, and lathe.
• Sets up and operates various machines including boring machines, Mortice Tenon as well as inverted router and router.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
