Job summary

Century Furniture in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our day shift. You will operate a range of woodworking machines and ensure smooth production in assigned areas.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring quality, and adhering to safety policies. Previous machine operation experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is typical. Candidates should be able to work in a noisy environment and lift up to 30 lbs regularly.

This position is responsible for operating machines in assigned area(s).

Essential Duties

Operates a variety of machines including but not limited to bandsaw, profile shaper, rip saw, wide belt sander, and lathe
Sets up and operates various machines including boring machines, Mortice Tenon as well as inverted router and router
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned
