Job summary

Century Casegoods Plant 1 in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time machine operator for the day shift. You will operate a range of woodworking machines and support safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include setting up and running bandsaw, profile shaper, rip saw, wide belt sander and lathe, following all safety policies, and performing other duties as assigned. A high school diploma or GED and prior machine operation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous machine operation experience preferred.

This position is responsible for operating machines in assigned area(s).

• Operates a variety of machines including but not limited to bandsaw, profile shaper, rip saw, wide belt sander, and lathe
• Sets up and operates various machines including boring machines, Mortice Tenon as well as inverted router and router
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
