Job summary

Forte Opening S in Arlington, TX is seeking a Machine Operator to safely run multiple cutting, grinding, bending, and other production machines. You will balance safety, efficiency, and quality while following SOPs and work instructions.

The role requires measuring, tooling, and basic math with attention to detail, and occasional heavy lifting. This entry supports five levels of progression within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing and comprehension.
• Ability to perform measurements and document results accurately.
• Physically able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Experience with basic shop math and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and document findings.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions for routine tasks.
• Handle door slabs and load/unload machines using manual methods or lift assists.
• Sort and stage parts for inbound/outbound production.
• Utilize pneumatic, mechanical, electric, and hand tools for tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and conduct regular quality checks.
