Allmand, a Generac Company, seeks an Assembly Technician to join our Holdrege, NE team. You will proficiently operate basic machinery at a defined pace, build and inspect light industrial equipment, and contribute to product quality from day one.

You will develop product understanding, work with hand tools, and participate in cross-training across stations while upholding safety and teamwork. We value detail, communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Work in a team environment in a professional manner.
• Effectively communicate.
• Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.
• Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs.
• Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
• Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
• Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.
• Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
