Job summary

Allmand, a Generac Company, seeks a production operator to proficiently operate basic machinery at a defined rate, assemble and understand product impact, and follow safety practices in a team environment.

You will learn continuously, lift materials safely, report hazards, and may assist with lightweight training across stations as needed. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of machinery experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Able to work in a professional, team-based environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience using hand tools with precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machinery at a defined rate with proper quality.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.
• Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs.
• Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
• Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
• Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed
• Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
