Rust-Oleum Corporation, a global leader in protective paints and coatings, seeks an experienced production operator in Maryland to inspect, set up, and adjust equipment to meet quality standards. You will read batch cards, handle data entry, and support efficient changeovers in a team environment.

The role requires high school diploma, CNC experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. This non-exempt position offers hourly pay and opportunities to contribute to safety and quality

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC operations preferred.
• Ability to read and understand batch cards and instructions to communicate directions clearly.
• Ability to do basic math and read various meters, scales, and electronic readouts.
• Ability to enter computer data and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and examine products for quality, packaging accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
• Change over equipment, adjust equipment, or otherwise adjust machines to improve performance and quality.
• Set and adjust speed, temperature, product flow, and positions and tolerances of equipment.
• Examine job orders to determine quantities, production times, stock specifications, BOMs, and SKU sequences.
• Monitor filling equipment to maintain specified levels and detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Operate equipment at efficient speeds to ensure quality and output.
• Maintain responsibility for equipment performance, changeovers, operation, and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates in written or in-person form.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality; learn all manual tasks within the department.
