Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products with a strong focus on safety and quality. The Machine Operator will run production machinery, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with team members to meet daily targets while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
• Experience with CNC equipment or door machining equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, production drawings, and technical specifications.
• Configure machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, routing, machining, or fabrication processes.
• Monitor machine performance and production output throughout each shift.
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting daily production schedules and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve department goals and deadlines.
