Responsibilities

• Reads job orders, specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Ensures equipment is set up safely and safety devices are used.
• Observes machine operation for defects or malfunctions.
• Measures workpieces with calipers, tapes or protractors for accuracy.
• Identifies issues and reports to supervisors.
