Job summary

Custom Concrete Co., Inc. is seeking a Layout Technician to ensure precise foundation layout on commercial, residential, multifamily, and industrial projects.

This role uses Trimble robotic total stations and field equipment to establish points, perform stakeouts, and produce as‑built reports. You’ll work outdoors on active construction sites, read detailed plans, and collaborate with field crews while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate surveying equipment to layout foundation points for various structures.
• Use field devices and our project management system to document progress.
• Perform geometric calculations and read building plans and specifications.
• Provide precise layout before and during production, and produce layout reports.
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and security of equipment.
• Work independently on site, conduct inspections, and identify hazards.
• Communicate progress and revisions with field crews and managers.
• Verify measurement accuracy and elevations during production.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE on all sites.
