Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Vocational Training in machining.
• 3+ years of machining experience on manual lathe operations.
• Experience with tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and operate measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate engine lathe machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering instructions.
• Machine parts to close tolerances (±0.001).
• Perform inspections using gauges such as steady rests, wall variation gauges, and 4‑jaw/chuck setups.
• Maintain oil/coolant levels and keep equipment clean.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Participate in debugging and improving new methods.
