Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Laser Engraver to produce accurate, personalized items and deliver excellent customer service in-store. You will consult with customers, prepare artwork, and operate laser engraving equipment safely.

Responsibilities include layout creation, quality control, and maintaining organized production areas. Physically capable to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds; prior engraving or graphic design experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in spelling, measurement, and alignment.
• Proficient with computers and graphics software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with laser engraving or graphic design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to confirm product, wording, artwork, placement, size, and completion date.
• Create and adjust engraving layouts using approved design software and templates.
• Set up and safely operate laser engraving equipment.
• Inspect finished products for spelling, alignment, clarity, finish quality, and adherence to the approved proof.
• Maintain accurate work orders and production records.
