Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a laser operator or closely related role.
- Deep familiarity with laser cutting machinery and production workflows.
- Comfort reading and applying technical documentation and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Configure and run a Bystronic laser to meet job specifications and schedules.
- Translate blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings into precise cutting operations.
- Continuously monitor performance and adjust settings for throughput and quality.
- Execute routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect first-piece and finished parts to ensure dimensional and visual criteria.
- Keep the work area neat and safe following company safety practices.
- Collaborate with teammates to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
