CoorsTek in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a Production Operator III - Lapping to perform multiple processes for technical ceramics and metals. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality while supporting a team focused on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing with basic tool use and the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and meet deadlines. Swing shift duties lead into a day-shift training period before transitioning to a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing/production with measurement tools and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and amplifiers.
• Input employee time and transfer parts through production areas.
• Wash, detail, and polish parts to maintain quality.
• Diamond roll lapping blocks and clean granite table.
• Measure flatness and perpendicularity of beams with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide production.
• Operate Autocollimator and profilometer.
• Maintain QC standards for finished parts.
• Train new employees in processes and safety.
• Meet production deadlines and efficiency targets.
