Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a production technician to set up and operate lamination machines in a safety‑conscious, detail‑oriented environment. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure high quality laminations for internal customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with 5 years of related experience or apprenticeship training. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• May have completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and/or operate various machines.
• Set up, operate and teach Automated Lamination Load & Unload machines.
• Perform visual inspection of parts and detect defects to maintain tolerance.
• Read measuring tools (tape, micrometers, Vernier calipers).
• Service notching machines and load/unload equipment while producing laminations.
• Transfer and load blanks and finished laminations as required.
• Make minor adjustments to maintain efficiency and part quality.
• Adhere to quality and safety guidelines and keep workspace clean.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
