Nidec Corporation is seeking a production operator to set up and operate lamination machines in the third shift. The role requires attention to detail, blueprint reading, and the ability to adjust equipment to meet specifications for quality laminations.

Must be able to set up and operate various machines in the lamination department in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. Employee will be responsible for producing quality parts in a safe and reliable manner for the next internal customer. Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field\'s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment in manufacturing; Ability to work in a Team oriented setting; Good Communication skills – Verbal & Written
