Job summary

MCC Label in the United States is seeking a rewind/inspect operator to shear and inspect labels, ensuring accuracy to customer specs. This fast-paced role emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to SOPs for quality control on printed rolls.

You will operate the rewind table, remove defects, and document sample labels while maintaining 5S in your area. Training on Radius and AVT systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong math skills including fractions, ratios and decimals.
• Ability to read and write instructions.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Flexible to different shifts including weekends; rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind machine to slit and remove defective labels.
• Rewind labels into rolls per specifications.
• Visually inspect labels for defects and verify accuracy.
• Fill out job paperwork and collect label samples per SOP.
• Communicate quality concerns to press operators and supervisor.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Clean machine and area daily.
• Report maintenance issues and participate in training new members.
