Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Quality Rewind Operator in Westfield, MA. The role involves inspecting, rewinding, and preparing finished label products for shipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specs.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read customer specifications, basic math skills, and the stamina to operate rewind equipment in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or printing preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and customer specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify print defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate label rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy.
• Verify customer specifications including color, registration, print quality, and barcode readability.
• Remove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped.
• Complete quality documentation and production records accurately.
• Label, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment according to customer specs.
• Communicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and reduce waste.
