Job summary

MCC is seeking a detail-focused label inspection and rewind operator to ensure quality during production. You will operate the rewind/inspection equipment, remove defects, verify label accuracy, and document job data.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and flexibility to shifts, including possible weekend hours. Responsibilities include communicating quality concerns, following SOPs, and assisting with training new staff.

• Good attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate inspection/rewind machine to slit down and remove defective labels from printed rolls.
• Rewind labels into rolls according to customer specifications and internal procedures.
• Visually inspect labels for defects.
• Verify job information and label accuracy.
• Move/lift rolls up to 40 lbs with pallet jack or roll lift as needed.
• Fill out job paperwork and collect label samples per SOP.
• Communicate quality concerns to press operators and supervisor.
• Contribute to 5S standards and maintain clean work area daily.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and report issues.
• Assist in training new team members when needed.
