Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Finishing Operator (Rewinder & Seamer) on 2nd shift to operate high-speed finishing equipment and ensure quality before our labels reach the customer.

You will set up and monitor machines, inspect products, and perform light mechanical adjustments, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and organized production. Training is provided, and candidates may rotate through rewinding, seaming, slitting, and inspection roles.

Qualifications

• Experience detecting seam misalignment on high-speed rolls.
• Willing to learn multiple finishing processes and rotate tasks daily.
• Comfortable using setup tools and making minor mechanical adjustments.
• Able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills; able to read rulers/calipers.
• Previous experience in printing/labeling/manufacturing preferred, but trained candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to ensure finishing, seaming, packaging, and shipping requirements are met.
• Operate slitter-rewinders, inspection machines, and seaming machinery.
• Monitor material flow for defects and alignment.
• Set up solvent application systems and perform bond-strength checks.
• Ensure color, size, die cut, layflat, perforations, and quantity accuracy.
• Use inspection systems to identify defects and remove issues.
• Adjust blades, guides, and tooling as needed.
• Assist with cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging.
• Complete production paperwork and label finished goods.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
