Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, printing/packaging helpful.
• Ability to read rulers, scales and other measurement devices.
• Must pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate label inspector machines; perform visual quality checks.
• Slit continuous material into strips of specified width and monitor for defects.
• Review job jackets and ensure finishing, packaging, and shipping specs are met.
• Inspect products for quality, and package items for shipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and replace blades as needed.
• Complete paperwork for each job and prepare goods for shipment.
