Job summary

Korry Electronics in the United States is seeking a paint technician to apply primers, polyurethane and epoxy paints on components and assemblies. You will mix paints to spec, perform masking and de-masking, and operate HLVP spray equipment while coordinating with inspection and production teams.

The role requires reading drawings/SDS, maintaining spray equipment, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paint mixing and application
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with reading schematics/blueprints and following safety procedures
• Experience or willingness to learn using spray equipment and color matching tools

Responsibilities

• Produce conforming paint finishes according to drawings and specifications
• Mix and apply primers, polyurethane and epoxy paints with accurate ratios
• Maintain paint-related equipment and spray booth in good condition
• Read Safety Data Sheets and dispose of hazardous waste properly
• Coordinate with masking/prep and other departments to meet scheduling and quality goals
• Communicate job status and expected completion times to production leads
• Perform surface prep, masking, de-masking, touch-ups, and cure management as required
• Operate photometric equipment in the Optics Department and adjust light output to specs
• Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
